Maddy & Nathan celebrated their wedding day at Barunah Plains in Victoria, a country estate we love for its wide open fields, heritage buildings and the sense of space it offers for a full weekend celebration. With accommodation on site, it allowed their guests to settle in and really experience the property, making the whole weekend feel relaxed and connected.

The landscape at Barunah Plains was incredibly green on the day, and it made such a difference to how everything photographed. From the open paddocks to the gardens around the homestead, every part of the property felt full of life and gave us so much to work with as the day unfolded. It’s the kind of setting where you don’t need to overcomplicate anything, the environment does a lot of the work for you.

We loved capturing the flow of their day across the estate, from quiet moments outdoors to the celebration shared with family and friends. Barunah Plains has a way of making weddings feel both expansive and grounded at the same time, and it created the perfect backdrop for photos that feel natural, timeless and true to the atmosphere of the day.
